ENGLAND
There is an argument that England is the best kept secret in UK & Ireland golf! The depth of quality throughout England is extraordinary and you are never far from a great course. There are four Open rota courses, all ranked in the world top 100 - Royal St George’s (ranked #33 in the world), Royal Birkdale (#44), Royal Lytham (#67) and Royal Liverpool (#79) but there is so much more to offer. Around London, the Surrey heathland courses offer a unique challenge - with two courses at Sunningdale (#30 and #64) and other gems like Swinley Forest (#50).
PLANNING YOUR TRIP
A trip to England is best enjoyed between April and October when the courses have some growth and the weather more likely to be on your side. Transport around England is generally straightforward so it is possible to see quite a lot in a short period of time. However, we always recommend not biting off too much at once, and sticking to one or two areas will get the most from your stay.
We can also recommend on activities outside of golf. Whether you are looking to take in a soccer match, a theatre trip in London or just to explore the countryside, we can put together a plan that’s perfect for you.
If you are thinking about a golf trip to England then the best thing to do is to fill in the Contact Form and we will set up a call or Zoom meeting to talk through what you are looking for. We’ll then put together a bespoke trip just for you and your group.
