THE OUTPOST EXPERIENCE

When we founded the Outpost Club we were sure of one thing - we wanted to provide experiences for our members that exemplified the very best of golf. That ethos has driven us over the years and we are delighted to bring our high levels of service to international travel with Outpost Overseas. We believe that this commitment to service makes the difference and will ensure that you have a truly special time.

Our team is led by David Jones. David is based in Gullane, Scotland, and has a wealth of experience in the UK and at venues around the world. Callum Austin and Eleanor Kelly work alongside David ensuring that all of our clients get an amazing experience - from the initial planning call through to the trip itself.

PLANNING YOUR TRIP

• We will set up a Zoom or phone call with you right at the beginning of the planning process. This is really important so we get a good understanding of what you are looking for. Don’t worry if you aren’t too sure at this stage. You will be speaking to someone who knows your destination very well and will be able to help shape the brief.

  We’ll also use this time to understand what else you are interested in and what we can include in your trip to make it special just for you.

  Maybe you all are whisky connoisseurs and we can include visits to some of the best distilleries. Maybe you have always wanted to try authentic Scottish fish and chips and we’ll tell you the best place to find them. Or maybe you just want time to walk on some of the finest beaches in the world - we’ll point you in the right direction. We will make sure that we understand exactly what makes you tick to ensure we present you with the perfect trip.

• After 2/3 days we will send you a link with a full itinerary for your trip. We will have checked that the tee times are available at all of the courses and that hotels have availability, so what you see presented is exactly what we will be able to book for you.

• We will arrange another call to talk the itinerary through with you (or via email if you prefer). At this stage we can answer any questions to ensure we put together the perfect trip for your group.

BEFORE YOUR TRIP

• You will have a named concierge who will be able to deal with any requests you may have.

• Approximately 8 weeks before your trip you will receive a final itinerary. This will include a day-by-day guide, including times for meeting with your driver, contact numbers for clubs and hotels and everything else you will need to make the trip go smoothly. We will arrange another video call to go through the trip with all of the members and answer any questions to ensure you are all set.

DURING YOUR TRIP

• If you are arriving in the UK we will meet your group at the beginning of the trip to make sure that you are all set to go. We will then take you to your hire car, or introduce you to your driver for the week, and answer any last minute questions before you embark on your golf trip of a lifetime.

• During the trip you will be able to contact your concierge either on the phone or WhatsApp at any time. Whatever you need, we are there to make sure you have the perfect golf vacation.
